What: So called because of the way it combines “the line and form of sculpture with the playful anima of puppetry”, Kate Church’s sculptural puppetry is bright, whimsical and artistic, and so very fun to look at; the level of detail — in the expression, the colouring and the costumes — shows the extreme care that goes into each design.
